How to Use FreeMetadata AI Free Stock data Generator
StockGen AI helps you generate perfect titles, descriptions, keywords, categories, and AI prompts for your stock assets. It works entirely in your browser, using your own API key from Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, or DeepSeek.
1. Get Your API Key to generate FreeMetadata
You need an API key from one of these providers (free tiers available):
Gemini – Get a key
ChatGPT (OpenAI) – Get a key
Claude (Anthropic) – Get a key
Grok (xAI) – Get a key
DeepSeek – Get a key
Paste the key into the API Key field on the left panel. Your key is stored only in your browser and is never sent anywhere except directly to the AI provider.
2. Choose Your AI Model
After entering the key, select a model from the dropdown.
For Gemini,
gemini-2.5-flashis fast and great for images are best model to generate freemetadata.For ChatGPT,
gpt-4ogives the best vision results.If you select a model that cannot see images (like DeepSeek or older models), the tool will still generate metadata based on the filename.
3. Pick a Stock Platform
Click one of the platform buttons: General, Adobe Stock, Shutterstock, Freepik, Vecteezy, or Pond5.
The tool automatically shows only the fields required by that platform:

For Freepik, you can toggle the AI Generated File switch to add an AI prompt and the model name.
4. Upload Your Files
Drag and drop images or videos into the dashed area, or click to browse.
Supported formats: PNG, JPG, WEBP, SVG, EPS, MP4, MOV, AVI.
You can upload multiple files at once. Thumbnails will appear immediately.
5. Generate freemetadata
Once your API key is set and files are uploaded, click “Generate All”.
A progress bar shows the status.
For each file, the AI will examine the actual image (or extract a frame from video) and produce platform‑specific metadata.
After generation, expand any item to see the results.
💡 If you don’t like the results, you can edit any field directly or click “Regenerate freemetadata” to try again.
6. Edit & Refine
All generated text can be edited in place. Click on any title, description, keywords, category, or AI prompt and type your changes. The tool saves your edits automatically.
7. Export Your Work
Click “Export freemetadata CSV” to download all completed items.
You can also export as TXT or JSON by clicking the export button and choosing the format in the pop‑up.
📌 Important Tips
Use a vision‑capable model (like Gemini 2.5 Flash or GPT‑4o) for the best results. The tool will warn you if your chosen model cannot see images.
Videos are supported by extracting a high‑quality frame from the first second – the AI will analyse that frame.
All processing happens in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to our servers.
